I agree with Micki...Shame on him!!! She said it in a nicer way than I would have though...lol. Your husband should support you no matter what, especially when you are taking a postive step towards a better smile, and improving your dental health. When I finally worked up the courage to get the braces at 35 that I have needed since I was a kid, he was totally supportive. I too, supported him when he decided that after a lifetime of pop-bottle thick glasses to go for Lasik surgery.

It's hard enough to go through braces as an adult...and it is so sad that he is not there for you. But always know that the nice caring folks here on this forum are always here to support you the best we can!
