I had jaw surgury last summer. I'm still recovering. I feel fine, but every once in awhile, I get this pain on my jaw and it pops when I open my mouth (like whne I yawn). Best advice to you is to seek a good orthognanic surgeon and have any questions ready at the consiltation appointment.
