Subject: Extraction questions.... Maybe for Dr. Rick

I have seen four orthodontists for consultations, three tell me I will have to have extractions (I have severe crowding and do not have my wisdow teeth) and one (the one I may be leaning toward, not because of this reason) says that extractions rarely need to be done because sometimes gaps or holes are left and the jaw joints work better with all teeth and it is more attractive and sometimes they have to put teeth back in (how is this done?). Has anyone heard this before? Can the same results be achieved without extractions? He said that if it is nessecary halfway down the road I will have extractions if nessecary. Is this possible after braces have already been put on?
Would love to hear opinions!!

Thanks!
