Subject: Financial question - transferring to a new doc

Hi, I am having to transfer to a new doc in the middle of my treatment. I was two payments away from being fully paid off with the old doc.

I consulted with a potential new doc who says that I need a lot more work, and the charge would be about $3,000. to continue treatment - this would be almost like paying for braces twice! Which I cannot do right now.

I am worried that I might have to have the braces removed and then re-do them all over again in a couple of years when I can handle the finances.

Does anyone have any insight or knowledge in this area? I feel like I am up a creek. Thanks!
