Hi Carolyn,

I know how you feel on this one! Mine was a little worse though! I had my brackets placed on April 1, and on April 7th I was told that I was being transferred to Iceland for 6 mos. to start up a new branch! By the 14th of April, I was stuck footing a $4000 bill! I explained to my current ortho the situation and he suggested removing the brackets for a $1500 fee! $1500!!!!! And no retention for what little my teeth moved! So, needless to say, I ill shortly be back in square 1 needing new records too! (total ortho treatment when all is said and done - $6500 that sucks for the second/third time around!

Needless to say, I wonder how far you are moving, maybe you can commute to see your ortho? I sure hope so! Good Luck Carolyn, the price we must pay to correct malformities. Shouldn't all health/dental procedures be free?! Only in a perfect world! Good Luck Carolyn,
Ally =)
