Jim,

I don't think you should let a stigma hold you back from your dreams. There aren't as many male nurses as female nurses, for example. But if the guy's a great nurse, who cares? The guy who gives me my allergy shots is a male nurse.

If you want to get into the dental field, you should do it!

How many times have women turned away from certain fields because they were "male dominiated" fields? Nowadays, most of those barriers have been broken down. And on another positive note, if you're a single straight guy, think of all the ladies you'll meet!

If there's only one website about a male hygienist, then you have a wonderful opportunity to put up your own site and provide information for other guys like you! Making a website isn't all that hard once you get the hang of it!
