Has anyone had jaw problems? I got my braces about a month ago and found out I have a good size over bite which will require a jaw lengthening surgery after a year of wearing my braces. Recently though I've had a lot of trouble with my jaw locking so that I can't open my mouth all the way this needless to say makes things like eating a little hard. My ortho has me on muscle relaxers but with work and family I don't have time to be drugged up and I usually don't have time to do the heat/cold thing either. Has anyone had a similar problem and if so what was the fix if there is one.
