Hi Curious,

I think it's funny (and sad too) that I'm making such a big deal about getting braces. I had a broken ankle recently and pnemonia a couple of years ago and I swear those things didn't bother me as much as these damn spacers, LOL. I'm so glad to hear that the spacers are the worst part. I think I can deal with it knowing that the whole two years won't be like this. You seriously cracked me up with the "unless you like to soak your teeth in a jar every night, suck it up" comment. You are so right, LOL. I see so many teens with braces and it doesn't seem to bother them much at all so I just wonder why I find it so painful?? I really am not looking for attention, just other experiences as to how painful the two years of ortho treatment will be in comparison to the spacers. Sorry to whine, but my poor husband has heard enough and I know that you guys could just not read if you so choose. Thanks again for your comments.
