Braces have been a misery for me; I have never got used to the barbed wire sensation on the inside of my lips and the tight sensation on my teeth. BUT...it is temporary misery for a lifetime benefit! I want to keep my teeth the rest of my life and my bite was so wearing, that wouldn't have been possible. So, expect to be very uncomfortable, occasionally in pain, and keep reminding yourself that it is short-term and think of the results! You will get through it!
