Teeth fracture all the time during ext. Many times they will try to remove a tooth without laying a gum flap, etc (a surgical ext) If they would have done that it might not have broken but you cant tell. WHen they take out the wisdome teeth esp if they are impacted they go to the flap and sx ext right off the bat.
If it is an oral sx I can assure you they have taken out thousands on impacted wisdopm teeth. Just go to who you arew most comfortable with.
