Ouch! I'm so sorry, Lauren! They make some over-the-counter stuff by Colgate that is like glue with pain reliever in it. You dry the sore with a cotton ball, "paint" the stuff on, then let it dry before you touch it. I doesn't taste good, but is supposed to seal the sore so it can heal. It's about $11 at Walgreens where I live. It isn't perfect since it wears off and has to be reapplied a few times a day but it really does help. I sure hope you find some relief!
