>Vice versa: I remember the start too well, but you always seem to 'forget' it,
because it completely contradicts your words.

Apparently you still don’t see the humour in these words.

>Not sending a photo (and I never promised to send it to you) doesn't excuse your
harassment towards me.

I don’t know. I find harassment I big word and I can’t help thinking you liked it to be harassed by me.

>Maybe you just did not like my question about the number of letters and especially
Todd's answer?. But as I am searching for the truth myself this question was very
important for me.

Why? What does it matter?

> 'how little information', 'so uninteresting details'....I just think whether you ain't
bothered by your hypocrisy yourself.

How do you mean? Just think about it: I’ve been trying to get more information about the supposed marriage now for many years. How much more did I learn that is not already listed in the book? Almost nothing.

>So, you have to admit that my comparison was not that ridiculous.

Then you have to admit we were very unsuccessful

> By the way, do you remember my question whether you have got 'cold mind, a hot heart and clean hands' and your affirmative answer? It is a well known motto of the KGB-ers: 'A real checkist should get cold mind, a hot heart and clean hands'. :-)

Do you want to imply I use the same methods as the KGB? Again: ridiculous.

>Naah, like M., that young emigrant from the USSR and his vulgar quote from Arkady
Sewerny on Piazza di S. Pietro.

You should know by now that I’m never vulgar.

>You mean Golubev, one of those writers from the KGB? You know, he was so
carried away with his description that mistook with sizes. It was only 10!

And Fischer’s funny walk, throwing his feet in front, is also not true?

>Have you never ordered handmade shoes?

No. Oh, yeah, when I stayed in an Israeli kibbutz I ordered sandals form the kibbutz shoemaker. My younger sister saw those sandals on a photo and loved the shoes so much that I tried to have a pair made for her. But the kibbutz shoemaker refused.

>Three months ago you said that you'd lost all your correspondence from last summer.

Maybe I was mistaking but I still have the correspondence left from June and later.

>>Then when did she start to live in Palo Alto?
>At the beginning of the 80s, already after Vadim and me moved from California.

And she lived until that time in England? Where did she stay when she visited the US?

>>Didn’t you get married at the end of December 1972?
>Yeah, on the 26th

And you met him only a few months before the marriage?

>You are right: if our relations were a bit closer and you were more sincere with me,
maybe I might tell you a bit more....

Maybe, might, if…. I’m sincere for ages now and you did not reveal much since then. Somehow it has taken so long that I even forgot the questions I should ask.

>It says nothing but the fact that you bought the book when you learnt about its
existense and when I advised you to do that.

I have a number of chess books and only two are about Fischer.

>There is only one reason why I’m against of our emailing. You are very well aware of
this reason.

When it’s the reason I think it is then I don’t see a difference with the way we are communicating now.

>If your problem, however, is really so private that can be called only by
email, I sure ain't opposed to that at all. Just send it to me.

Maybe, maybe. It’s really very private and I’m afraid you will misunderstand me. How about your problem? Don’t you want to discus that?
