well we are just now getting my girl to get the idea that she needs to bite the sleeve and that she doesn't have free reign to go anywhere on the guy she wants to. We don't have full suits. Just apron and sometimes the padded pants thing - not really a bite suit, just the protective pants. I don't think I could talk the helpers into letting her go all over them! hahahha That is why I asked Linda earlier about what to start a dog on, the sleeve or the suit. I had always heard what Linda said, that you go with the sleeve first, although I know dogs that have successfully gone the opposite direction. Do your dogs still target well on the sleeve even with doing suit work also? I don't know if the helper is scared of her at all, but he does know she is fairly new to this and doesn't understand that the entire 'bad guy' isn't fair game, so he has a healthy respect for the possibilities.

I don't understand what you mean by 'bad bite' - do you mean one that wasn't directed to a specific spot? Do you have a command or something for specific places you want a dog to bite? Basically I don't - the dog focuses on the sleeve and that is where she gets to bite, so she is sort of directed away from other body parts by her interest in the sleeve. I have never seen anyone train a dog with a full suit, so I am quite ignorant of a lot of this stuff, but do they present a specific body part to the dog or is there a command for where the dog should bite?

Oh, and again, if someone would be so kind to answer, are the three divisions that we do in schutzhund also done in MR or FR?
