interesting. I always have thought of the bouncing and the feet as a pain hardness issue. If you wanted to not impact as hard on your jaw, but still were so drivey that you were compelled to get there fast, you can get around the pain of impact by going feet first. Dogs with plenty of courage and drive still bounce, it looks like it is so compulsive for them to bite, but they know it's going to hurt to some degree, so they get there and don't have that extra fight that would make them want to take that pain out on the helper in fighting, throw their whole body into it, and stick the bite. That's my hypothesis at least:)
