I have to say that I have seen some incredible barrages with accessories. I have seen dogs whose background was based on stickwork only take one look and head south. The decoys do not have to 'open' that barrage, either. Mondioring is not French Ring. It is a combination of environmental challenge AND physical opposition via accessories. It is a test of training and character. In this country there are but a very small handful........three, actually......of Mondioring III dogs. When we have collectively titled a bunch of dogs at the Mondioring III level, maybe then we will have a better understanding of the challenges that exist in the sport. Watching it on a video...or even watching the International Championship in person does not prepare one for the tremendous challenges that actually exist when you begin to work your way up the levels. I have titled two to the MR I level, and have competed at the MR II level. I am just BEGINNING to understand the subtilties of the sport.
