Hi Ann,

best way I've heard it described is that the French program fits nicely within the Mondio program. (I'm sure I'm going to take some flak for that).

As Michael Ellis pointed out at the seminar, "Why wouldn't you show all this environmental stuff to your dog as a puppy? No matter what your sport he can only benefit from the exposure."

Of course, you would want to train to ensure that your dog doesn't have any stick issues that could come back and haunt you later.

Most of the people in our club cross-train both.

I would be curious to hear from Mark how easily his friend's dogs made the switch from French to Mondio and did it produce a stronger dog than one trained solely in Mondioring.
