Subject: Guard of Object

I'm trying to figure out the rules for appropriately setting up / picking up a dog on the Guard of Object exercise. I have posted this question a few times over the last few years and have not gotten any feedback so I imagine there's a lot of other people out there that could use this information as well :)) I realize only a few dogs have done this for Mondioring - but if anyone knows the rules for French Ring, I imagine they are extremely similar (if not the same). I would greatly appreciate any feedback or experience (even small pieces of info) that anyone might have.

If anyone knows this (MR or FR) step-by-step from the starting point, I would be forever in your debt!!:)

Thank you,
Laura
