I tell you what I will try to tell you, we will see if Im right...
What happens is when the exercise starts, the Deputy Judge will take you to the area where the GOA is going to be. He will explain the exercise and you will go to the "mise en place", and have your dog sit, "DOG SIT." You command your dog to heel to the start line, then sit... "DOG HEEL", "DOG SIT" Then the DJ will bring you the object at the line, OR the object will be there at the start line on the ground. You will take the object, and tell your dog to heel. "DOG HEEL". Then you will proceed to the "spot", and place the Object in the center of the circles, and place your dog... "DOG SIT (Stand, Down)" Then you walk to the blind that you are told to by the DJ. The dog does his thing guarding... You hang out in the blind... After he successfully guards the object (you hope!) the judge will honk, indicating for you to go pick up the dog. The decoy will still be on the field, but not out of site. You, along with the DJ will head in the general direction, and the DJ will stop (he doesnt want to go all the way with you) you continue out to your dog, and get close to the dog. The judge will honk the horn, and you pick up the object, and call you dog to heel. "DOG, HEEL" walk three steps, and LAURA GETS FULL POINTS WITH LUDO!!! The crowd goes wild!!! You then take the basket back to where you got it.

This is the way the FR books says to do it (except for the mise en place part, and i tend to do that in an FR trial too)... I think the only differece is, is that in MR, you MIGHT be able to give a GUARD command, before you leave you dog with the article. I hope I havent left anything out. GOOD LUCK!!!
