well, Vi, that wide path to the left that looks big enough to drive on goes no where. that is a place where powerlines go/went at one point. that path leads to the creek and on the other side of the creek is a monster of a hill...probably at a 65-70 degree angle, running probably 70-80 yards and totally covered with thorns. me and a couple of friends actually climbed that and all we saw at the top is a cornfield to the right, trees to the left and a house right in front of you about 100 yards. in my opinion, i think that the supposed "7 gates" are actually past the middle gate down that path. i read some where that the path actually crosses the creek and takes a sharp almost 90 degree right turn (after i read this i actually dug around some more and found a map that shows a "jeep trail" that does this exact thing) and this point is actually the 3rd gate and where everything starts getting freaky. we actually walked this path too, but being dark and all, we beared to far to the left and lost the trail. then, i actually saw a red light through the woods towards the direction of the car. not wanting a fairly large tresspassing fine, we all decided to call it a night. but upon arriving at the car, the light was gone, and there was no sign of law enforcement, or anything other than the car for that matter. i dont know, we could have actually been on the 7 gates path but lost it due to the brush, the darkness or "other reasons" beyond our material world. whatever the case, we are definatly headed back to check out that middle path. email me if you have anymore questions. i hope this has been of some help.
*btw, keep an eye peeled for police. it is said that they dont want people out in there (its a big party spot. when we were there, there were beer cans and bottles all over the ground).
