Alrighty, let's get through the obvious counter-comments first. Yes, one can consider what we've been doing "bashing". One could also consider what you wrote to Scott "bashing" (use of childlike and maturity comments). Actually, you sound more like a father giving a son a "lecture". But, as Scott (LVGHS) said...everyone is entitled to their own opinion, whether you like it or not. If you have a problem with that, it's very simple to click that mouse onto another site. Simply because you have been in this vocation (Is that what this is? I thought it was a hobby) doesn't mean you have more experience or have a greater knowledge of the subject. Your credibility is subject to skepticism simply because you refrained from identifying yourself. For all anyone knows, you could be a 14 year old kid looking to fire someone up or even Dr. Dave DoChargeForEverything himself.
The information that has been put out there about the "international" group is to let people know who and what they are really dealing with. I got sucked into attending the first IGHS conference and was extremely disappointed. I would have like to hear from someone who knew more about them then I did. When a group, I'm sorry, did I say "group", I meant "couple" gets on TV and in books as much as those two, people see them as the NORM. If they attend the seminar, everything afterwards is compared to that first event. It makes people think that EVERY group is like that. For the most part, we DO ignore much of what they do. But then there are times when one must speak up and bring truth to certain lies that may get someone in trouble or leave thier wallet much lighter. Tell me this, if a friend of yours was going to order the $150 certified ghost hunter tape, would you simply steer away from the subject and let him spend the money? When he gets all gong-ho about this vocation and wants to buy the EMF detector and thermal gun...and he sees that it on the International site. Would you let him buy it knowing that he could get both much cheaper somewhere else? I'm not trying to be an ass, I'm just thinking that you would look out for your buddy and save him the money. That's what we're trying to do.
Speaking one's opinion is an American right. Saying it while hiding is immature. If you post your opinion in a nice, proffessional manner (as in leaving out the " I try to handle it the mature way......why don't you try it L.V.G.H.S?), then we can all debate about it. We would not start bashing an entire team because of one person's comments. You don't like the International group, we don't like them either...do we need to go any further? Must you try to advise someone else on how they should run thier site or handle thier matters? NO. It is not your place to do so. We love to debate...I do more then anyone else. But, a debate will have different views being thrown together. It should not be considered retribution towards you or your group. It simply a difference of opinion.
