You want to know why that cat isn't decayed? Because the thing residing in the house doesn't want it to decay. It wasn't murdered in the sense you are thinking of. As for other animals in the basement, call them food for what is there. I will tell you all what I know from my own visits to the house,(I will supply the story that I "saw").The cornfield is no longer there. It is completely barren now. The yard around the house is grown tremendously since the fall of last year. The house appears much bigger at night. There is also a possum in the workshed off the side of the road that serves as a driveway. There is a way to get to the third floor but you have to climb through the ceiling. There are words spraypainted at the third floor landing of the stairs. They are in another language so I will not post them here because I do not know what they might do. (Brief thing...I am a ghost hunter by hobby and I have the ablity to sense and see things) Anyway...The story as my friends and I have put together from our own feelings and what we've seen is as follows. Before the family lived in the house there was at one time a slave owner who killed some of her slaves and buried them in the basement. The story about the guy is somewhat true. The wife never ran off with another man. The husband was possessed by a demon who resides there still. He killed his wife with a knife in the kitchen. Threw one of his daughters out of a second floor window. (The room with the busted out wall beneath the window) His other daughter he raped then buried in the back field. He had a son who locked himself in a closet in the third floor. The son was unable to get out of the closet and starved to death. The father then hung himself in the basement. Any feelings of pressure when you start going into the basement are one of the little girls warning you to get the hell out.
