Cheers gents for the advice.

I'll look further into the fule issue tomorrw, will check for water. It was 'almost' empty i.e. in the red so 95% is fresh fuel however there could still be water hanging about.

May be its the carbs next then, I'll have a look.

I did go for a 10mile ride today and it ran perfectly. However it was only after about this distance that it started playing up, i.e. once I was doing 70-80mph.

My real worry is the igniter box, or pulser system or coils are knackered. HT and low tension wiring seems OK.

Plugs looked clean and correctly gapped, I also cleaned the carb heating filter.

Will update again if it continues to run OK.
