Yes, everybody Aquaman corresponds with should be underwater!

With Batman, I thought some of the scenes could've done with elevating him - i.e. meeting Gordon at his house, encountering Katie Holmes, his first encounter with the Scarecrow.

I think my point with those cases is that they had him in the air to some extent, but not very high. Either they should've had him ground-bound, or stuck him 100 feet in the air.

Freeman's Lucius Fox is part of the comic book, just like Alfred, but I don't think either actor's really going to be taxed. in any sequels. Freeman was in cruise control as it was, and I don't think his roles are going to get any meatier. Obviously it's great to have actors the caliber of Caine and Freeman in the series, but they may become superfluous.

I think the best thing they did in Batman Begins is they'd didn't conclusively kill any of the villains, i.e. Scarecrow and Mr. Aziz got away, and while Liam Neeson was in an exploding carriage, we didn't see whether he was positively in it. Mayb he jumped out. Maybe he had some ability to withstand the explosion. Whatever.

But I hated that they killed the villains in the other movies - the Joker plummeted to his death, the Penguin died, etc. How'd you bring those guys back?

Actually, just as a final aside but I liked Gordon's foreshadowing at the end, suggesting the innovation of a "Batman" would elicit weirder criminals.
