I know exactly what you're saying. I felt the same way about "Kiss the Girls". Here they had Cary Elwes playing a generic copy with only a line or two throughout the whole movie, up until the end. Ofcourse the killer's going to be him. Why else would they pick a relatively big name to play a part that small?

Also, that's one of the reasons I didn't like "The Fugitive". The bad guy wasn't a popular actor but he was the ONLY OTHER major character in the whole movie, besides Ford and Jones. If you're going to make a "who dunnit", atleast give us some other character options.
