And I did drive down your street - only to find you doing exactly the same things you were harassing me over. You sent threatening and insulting e-mails to me, cursing and swearing, and asked what would I have done differently - instead of posting messages. So in return I told you this is what I would do: I did call the HOA management office to complain about your garbage can being in exactly the same location that mine was in. That's what I would have done... in similar fashion to what one of your neighbors has done recently. What do you think brought up the issues about the BB goals? It wasn't me, or Brett. Before you start inspecting my yard - you really ought to clean your own. I am not specifically opposed to the BB goals. On this web page, residents have complained that historically the HOA board hasn't enforced any rules. So the topic came up again - and we are trying to enforce the rules we all signed. I have broken some in the past - learned from it, and changed behavior - as any rational adult will do. I don't like my garbage can in my garage - but it's a rule, and until it changes - I have to live by it. My position is how can we enforce one rule without upholding them all? If the HOA allows one rule to be ignored - it's a slippery downhill slope from there. I'm not against BB goals being out there, I don't like WHY people feel they have no other choice. I am against the fact that parents are unwilling or unable to allow their kids to go to the park to play because of what they see and hear there. This isn't personal. It's just procedural to get the rules updated and changed. We have been working on getting them changed for a few months, in order to allow the goals to be there. We just haven't figured the wording out yet. Brett and I (nor did the HOA board) did not open this can of worms - we are just trying to address it. We aren't trying to punish anyone - just trying to figure out how to keep our neighborhood the best and most valuable in Mt. Juliet.
