OK, since I came down on the county commission, I thought I'd do a little equal opportunity bashing on the city commission.

Someone please tell me why they are looking to borrow $150K (to pay off a bond), then turn around and vote to allocate $20K to a skate park? This after wasting all that money on the quiet zone. Is this skate park really a necessity? Can't it wait until things are looking better financially?

Come on, don't they know that this country is in a financial crisis, mostly caused by people, companies and gov't entities overextending themselves. I guess old habits are hard to break.
