I don't know who Terry B or any of the others are on here, and so since they might live next door, I will just use neighbor and play the same game. I read the papers, and thought it seemed odd that they would go after Sorey the way they did over something so small, and since there was no law broken, it just didn't make sense to me. Well, it almost didn't. I have been around this city long enough to know better, and since he put his number up, I blocked my number and called him. To my suprise he answered! Not only did he answer, he was pleasant and when I asked him about county issues and the stuff you mentioned on the post about private information, he answered without hesitation. Seems to me that the city should have been mad at him, if what he said is true. They should be mad at themselves for getting caught that is! According to him, he began to look into the firecodes when he found a letter that said something about that problem, but he was actually checking into an assault on a female employee that the city covered up. When he told me this, it began to click. That has to be the woman that they mention in the papers as having a lawsuit against the city, but it never says why. Sorey said that he also provided other information that made the city leaders angry, such as the tape of the meeting where Sellars DID say what he said he didn't, and he was also the one who pointed out the Elam was on the board of directors at Summitt Hospital when they started to get involved in the YMCA deal. Again, he would not tell me how he knew that either. He claims to have been the only citizen who attended the city meeting at Henry Horton state park and if so, he is most likely the reason why they now have those meetings at the hotel in Providence now instead of footing the bill for a weekend getaway.

I do have one issue though, just not sure which way to think. He acknowledged that he was the one who leaked the audio to the media after the city refused to do anything about the issues and he claims to have emails from them saying that they checked addresses that he gave them and found no issue. I asked him how he got the audio, and all he would say is that it was done legally. Not sure what to think. Should I question whether it was or should I admire him for not breaking his promise to whoever got the audio?
