I've been reading this and keeping my mouth shut, as I have neighbors on both sides of me with different positions. Personally I don't think any of this is worth losing any friendships over, which is why I am choosing to stay anonymous (for now).

If your description of the red head is accurate, which I have no reason to believe otherwise, I'd say he is not going to win many people over to his side. Rudeness and badgering are not very neighborly actions.

With that said, reading your email has me wondering how it is the basketball court that is the fault in all this. Some of the points you make:
1) condoms/sex: I don't believe this is taking place on the courts. If it is, the board has some nice camera action to review each week! Seriously, can this really be attributed to the bb courts? I'd think the swimming pool, you know, less clothes, sexy swimsuits, etc., would have more to contribute to this issue.
2)Cruising teenagers: again, can this be attributed to just the bb courts? I was a teenage boy once, if I were cruising in/out I know I'd be looking to see what was at the pool, if you get my drift. I certainly wouldn't be interested in the sweaty bodies playing basketball.
3)Drug deal at dusk while getting ready to watch the movie: really only goes to show that it's not the bb courts that bring in the bad. The movies prevent the playing of basketball, and attract people, so if this drug deal went down in that environment, I'd say that the bb court definately is not the culprit.
4)Making out and jumping on playground equipment: has nothing to do with the bb court.

I just don't see how all this can be blamed on the bb courts, when most of the examples given, and the things I hear, have nothing to do with them?
