In a ToryDraft.com opinion piece entitled "Members upset at Party spending"
(April 29, 2003 -- http://www.torydraft.com/opinion.htm ) persons claiming to
be Scott and Cathy Deitz from Toronto make a ridiculous assertion that
Executive Vice President Lois Johnson is a "spendthrift" - one who spends
money profusely - and accuses her of misuse of party funds.

Anyone that knows Lois Johnson on even a cursory level knows this can't
possibly be so. Is everyone as tired of these continuing attacks on our
party, on our members, our leaders, and our management, as I am?

The writers of this latest article got only one thing right:

We do need people to stand up and say ** we're mad as hell and not going take
it any more **.

Let us all speak with one voice and demand that we not stand for dirty tricks;
we not stand for anonymous or faked personae hurling destructive energy at
our party and its people; we not stand for people of fine character - whether
we agree with their politics or not - being recklessly attacked without
cause.
