To Partisans all:
Thankyou Glen Harewood for reminding us of the private
interests implicated in the arming of Saddam Hussein.
It seems to me that in all this turmoil over Saddam
and weapons, part of the action should be the arrest
and trial of all the company executives of the companies that have for the last 5, 10, and 20 years been selling arms and weapons materiel to Saddam's minions. The USA
has "Trading with the Enemies" legislation, and there
could also be international action to intervene in
the transactions, including transportation contracts
with airlines and sea transport companies.

I have never heard of a single action taken against
a single one of the persons or companies that have
been aiding and abetting the enemy Saddam(or Osama)
in their fascistic violence.

If we shut down the private enterprise trade in war materiel with Saddam, then he would have to be nice,
at least with respect international violence.
