Well, I read it all! It was very interesting and sadly ALL TRUE! I don�t mind paying taxes (I don�t like it but it�s necessary), what pisses me off is the fact that the middle class of this country are the one�s that are paying the bills for it. The middle class pays 30-40% of their income in taxes while the rich pay 10-15% of their income in taxes. -- THE VENT BOARD

Also, the IRS spends most of it�s time on audits for the middle class (who are less likely to cheat) than it does to investigate the rich. I had read something that gave percentages and totals, I can�t remember what they were. What it all boiled down to was the fact that the IRS was spending 100's of millions to get what amounted to hundreds to thousands of dollars from individuals, instead of spending thousands to get 100's of millions. Everything sounds fair to me!

The rich probably pay even less however THE TRULY WEALTHY
ARE VERY ADEPT AT PAYING LITTLE OR NO TAXES - QUITE CLEVER AT ESTABLISHING TRUSTS, FOUNDATIONS, FOREIGN CORPORATIONS ESTABLISHED ON TINY ISLANDS AND UTILIZING ANY AVIABLE LOOPHOLE. BY COMPARISON THE WEALTHY MAKE THE TYPICAL RICH PERSON APPEAR AS A 6 YR OLD WHO BROKE INTO HIS PIGGY BANK AND IS OVERWHELMED WITH HIS NEW FORTUNE OF NICKELS AND DIMES HAVE FAITH CAUSE BUSH IS GOING TO GIVE THOSE RICH FOLKS BACK A GOOD SIZE CHUNK OF CHANGE AND ACCORDING TO THE REPUBLICANS THEORY EVENTUALLY IT'S SUPPOSE TO "TRICKLE" DOWN TO YOU!
