✅ **Enclosure** – A 40–120 gallon tank is best depending on age/size.
✅ **Lighting & Heat** – UVB + basking light are non-negotiable for their health.
✅ **Diet** – Mix of live insects (crickets, dubia roaches) & fresh veggies.
✅ **Handling** – They’re one of the friendliest reptiles, but still need gentle care.
If you’re considering one, make sure you’re ready for a **10+ year commitment**. They really become part of the family.
