Subject: Looks are deceptive and above all a matter of personal taste. I'd never vote for Edwards on his merits concerning looks and charisma, because I don't think he has either. But then I'm born and bred European and we just don't go for big teeth grin in politicians, it makes us suspicious. And I don't believe for a split second that the elections were not rigged.

In reply to: <:)Duck/Ed 's message, "The elections weren't rigged - the Republicans did their utmost to once again disenfranchise the poor but mostly unsuccessful - NOPE AMERICANS ARE BASICALLY SCARED LITTLE SHEEP and KERRY was the wrong candidate - If his running mate EDWARDS with Gen Wesley Clark as a vp candidate had been choosen THEY WOULD HAVE WON - not because the agenda was different from Kerry's but because EDWARDS has more charisma and General Clark would have overcome the security issues and also because both especially Edwards IS MUCH BETTER LOOKING then Kerry and the LOOKS alone would have been sufficient!" on Saturday, November 06 2004, 18:28:16 GMT ( - 8 )

Diebold pledged two years ago that Bush will win in 2004, and Diebold is one of the biggest donators to Bush campaign chest. And what's downright scaring is that quite a few of Bush's nearest and dearest cronies are closely involved with Diebold. Nobody but the Diebold bunch can access the voting computers. Exit polls - which are ususally congruent enough with polling results to be used as control tool to check if votes have been tampered with - clash big time with voting results. Jeb Bush said he doesn't see any reason why all those people who were falsely scraped from the voter lists in 2000 should be unscraped. Campaign managers for Bush were put in charge of voting places. As I said, I don't believe for a split second the elections were not rigged. But then, I'm only one of those cynical old Europeans.
