I normally don't post on MBs due to time constraints, but I am outraged at the lack of information going out concerning the despicable display of non-journalism displayed by Elizabeth Vargas and ABC. This is certainly no NEWS program!

Trying to make Matthew appear as some crazed gay druggie trying to solicit sex for drugs is criminal. Not one shred of new evidence was produced and only a few habitual liars were paraded out to confirm this "fact". Dealing drugs is a criminal offense. How she got away with this, I have no idea. I guess if we want to spread the news that Elizabeth Vargas is a child molester, it's perfectly okay to do so without having any evidence. How many times was Matthew arrested and/or convicted for selling Meth. For Soliciting sex? Where are the documents proving this.
And to make out these barbaric murderers as victims is an outrage.

IF YOU'VE NEVER GOTTEN INVOLVED IN STEMMING THE TIDE OF ANTI-GAY, HOMOPHBIC, BIGOTRY, I WOULD SUGGEST YOU DO SO NOW.

I immediately sent an e-mail to 20/20@ABC.com and I also posted a few remarks on John Aravosis' blog, which I noticed this morning was deleted.This was my message:

Nice to discuss orchids and xmas while ABC does a hatchet job on Matthew Shepherd, and tries to make out the barbaric murderers as victims.

So much for a credible gay activist leader. As of now he can join the ranks of Andrew Sullivan.

If anyone cares, these were the sponsors of last nights disgusting display of humanity. I am still looking up e-mails and plan to send them to the sponsors with my intentions to boycott their products this holiday season. I can just as easily shop at Sears rather than J.C. Penny and Radio shack always sucked.

A couple escaped me but I think this is most of the companies that need to be boycotted at this time. Christmas sales are most important to these people and I would rather shop anywhere else rather than support a company that would sponsor the trash that ABC displayed.
