I am easy to thrill so it doesn't take much! LOL

1. The cool air in the morning, just before the sun really comes up.

2. A great pot of coffee in the morning.

3. Puppy kisses.

4. Kitty purring and not hissing and bitchin at me.

5. A snuggle from the hubby just before we wake up for the day.

6. A new job!

7. A brand new razor to shave the hairs off the legs.

8. Winning an auction on EBay!

9. This is my most thrilling thing of the day, yaking with my buddies on BT or DP!

I'm sure there are a hundred more little things that thrill me, but I'll stop for now.

him run outside and fetches the news paper. (His job)

side of a Mesa. Trails go up and down through the contour
of the Mesa side.

less to pay. LOL

9. And thanking the good Lord for my health..

10. And meeting so many nice people in BT/DP.

My morning coffee!

A magnificent electrical storm.

Skydiving was a huge thrill.

Riding my motorcycle which I haven't done for a few years.

Driving fast and furiously!

Learning new things.

My younger daughter - she's one of the most awesome people I know.

My fishies... hard to believe, I know.

My Akita, and especially training him competitively. He's my big guy, my protector.

Still getting mistaken for my older daughter's sister.

My older daughter's free-spirited, but common sense nature.

The ocean - a distant memory now.

Good music.

Finally getting to see under my dad's hard-nosed exterior as he approaches the age of 75.

Spring after a long winter.

The realization that this really IS the first day of the rest of my life...

I could go on all day...

Horseback riding.

Riding my bicycle fast downhill.

The feeling of being in fit and in shape.

Figuring out how to do stuff like install faucets and building things.

Kicking ass on exams (I'm a student)

Being in love - another distant memory.

Great sex - yet another distant memory...

Chocolate.

The cool air at NIGHT just before the sun comes up. Hey, I watch the sunrise, then go to bed. LOL.

Clean fresh sheets and a fluffy comforter to make a nest out of.

The way the house looks after a really deep cleaning (for about 15 minutes, anyway)

Being able to identify many, many songs and movies when people say "what was that movie that had that guy that was in Space Cowboys, and there was a car, and some other guy in it".

When a guy my son was friends with about 15 years ago (they were both around 5 at the time) ran into me and REMEMBERED me after 15 years! He said "you used to stand on the balcony of your apartment and throw bubble gum down to us. You were so cool". When a 5 year old can remember you 15 years later, that's thrilling.

Going to the hardware store and buying neat stuff. I love little hardware doodads, and a new switch plate will send me over the moon.

When my husband works 60 hours in one week, and cleans the living room because I had to work too (11 hours in one week).

When my kids say "you're the best mom ever" for no reason.

When I send my husband to the store for some tomato sauce, and he brings back my favorite candy bar, just because.

Finding just enough loose change around the house to buy an ice cream cone. (If it's loose change, it's mad money)

When my favorite authors have new books released.

Winning an auction on Ebay for my opening bid, instead of my maximum bid.

Totally redecorating a room for under $5.00 (just did that one today!)

Having people like you guys on Back Talk.

Pam

That "A-ha!" look on a student's face during class.

Learning something new on my guitar.

My wife's smile.

Introducing something new to a friend, that they like. (Most Koreans have never eaten anything other than Korean food, American fast food, Japanese food or what passes for Chinese food here. I love when I can turn them onto something new.)

A good cup of coffee, whether drip- or espresso based.

English pipe tobacco, especially Dunhill's.

And, as of late, throwing a frisbee.

Playing board games with a small group of friends.

So many things, no order:

Good food and wine.

Good sex.

Good music.

Anything that gets me in touch with nature and my body - hiking, biking, boating, treeclimbing, swimming, you name it...

A good fight for a good cause.

A woman that enjoys the same.

Snow. I never got over the beauty of a snowflake. Look one under a microscope.

Flowers. I love to look at flowers.

Life and all its pleasures.

Having my morning coffee on the back patio next to the Koi pond. The sound of the waterfall is so relaxing.

Watching the fireflies twinkling above the trees.

Seeing a bunny and a chipmunk in the backyard.

Those odd moments when the dog is quiet.

Needing coffee while out, and finding a coffee shop that isn't Starbucks.

Finding a wonderful, new flavor of ice cream.

Having my husband give me a foot rub.

Sleeping on fresh sheets.

Reading a good book, or finding a terrific new author.

Having a glass of Coke in the evening.

Chatting with my sweetie when he gets home from work.

Watching a good movie.

Having a project turn out as well as I had envisioned it.

Finding a creative solution to a problem.

Having someone cook for me.

Good .

Finding "just the thing that I was looking for", and getting it at a bargain price.

Relaxing meals with lots of good conversation and laughter.

~Dana
