Who the hell cares if your friends are allergic, they don't have to pet the cats when they come over then! :) Don't NOT get a cat (or two:)) just because your friends come over from time to time and they're allergic.

I'm allergic to cats and dogs, AND I'm asthmatic, and I've always lived with both - and never bathed my cats or used Allerpet. If your friends are super allergic tell them to take a Claritin before they come over to your house, and they'll not want to pet the cats.
