The opening >verses of this chapter are a song of praise to the >FATHER for HIS deliverance of the people. BUT, as we >move on through the chapter you will find in verse 24 >that the people are already complaining again. I want >to show you something that the FATHER impressed on my >heart this morning as I moved on through this chapter >and began to cross reference verse 26. Let's look at >the verse and then I will comment. >And HE said, "If you will give earnest heed to the >voice of the LORD your GOD, and do what is right in >HIS Sight, and give ear to HIS commandments, and keep >all HIS statutes, I will put none of these diseases on >you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I the LORD, >am your healer." >Ladies, there is a correlation between sin in our >lives and sickness in our lives. HE HAS HEALING FOR US, but the >sin has got to be confessed and forsaken before HE >will HEAL. Look with me at James 5 for a second. >Look at verses 15, 16 & 20. And the prayer offered in >faith will restore the one who is sick, and the LORD >will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they >will be forgiven him.
