Aye he probably doesnt have much money kevin, alike me, so it bugs me a bit when people spout out stuff but then cant follow it up themselves. Is why i dont voice supporting scene rants all the time as i cannot afford to go to alot of gigs and completly support our local scene which is pretty damn good at the moment. And i also agree with will, supporting the UK scene is good but if that UK band is shite then fuck the generally higher price you pay to see these bigger touring bands. I aint gonna pay good money to see a band i dont like, and i think a lot of other people feel the same way. Another thing that is bugging me at the moment is the freaks union, they are damn ace. They should go tour, and make a name for themselves instead of playing in Hull all the time. Afterall they are more then good enough.
