>Well to be honest Will, i am up for putting anything on but ALL gigs need support really. This next bit is by no means Aimed at you personally, but i am sure you are well aware that there is a certain degree of snobbery and pickiness(that has an air of the "leeds" attitude about it)that seems to exist among us and it is really unhealthy. I was mightily impressed by FIG4.0 comments on said situation in their own home town.I would really like to see a return to the classic "smash it up" days, when there were far fewer preconceptions and intolerance of the diferent sub sectors of punk. Sunday nights gig did have an air of that about it but the Adelphi did thin out for the Swellbellys.Whilst we do all have slightly differing tastes i feel that Most of the acts we'd each like to see could well play here if the level of support was consistent enough(though things seem very healthy right now, but could well go off the boil again if everything is concentrated at the Adelphi)as even the undergoundest of gigs still costs money to set up(as you are, like myself, very aware) therefore needs people to turn up and pay admission prices, which in Hull are nearly always cheaper than the National Average).
