Sydney slumped back, trying to apply pressure to his wounds, most of which were on his back. The one with the xit wound was now bleeding profusely, and didn't look like a bandage would help. A heal spell would, but that would just be too convenient. Sydney grimaced.

Too bad I don't a have cure root. Sydney thought to himself as he pulled out a mana root. A lot of bloody good this does me.

Sydney sighed. He'd rather have been stabbed by Rosencrantz again than to have endured this helplessness.
