Sorry the increase in fees that made attending the Rendezvous more challenging for some this year. Everyone should know that not one organizer makes a penny off of the event. EVERYTHING over and above expenses gets used for community and whitewater enhancement projects.

To date, the very appreciative and all volunteer Benscreek Canoe Club with your hard earned dollars:
Organizes the Stonycreek Rendezvous.
Purchased a few of those nice wooden picnic tables at Greenhouse Park.
Purchased and helped install one of the first pavilions at Greenhouse Park.
Helped fund the whitewater park.
Exploring enhancements to the existing park.
Helped purchase land for river access along the Stony.
Repaired a much needed roof on a Hermit's log cabin in the Stony Canyon.
Helped build a river access point in Hollsopple.
Help fund whitewater release mechanism planning.
Keep the watershed clean from litter.
Help fund and organize a river sojourn.
Host several low or no cost events pertaining to boating.
Provide a four week instructional roll class at the Johnstown YMCA pool free to members.
Organize an annual Holiday Party attended by nearly a hundred members and friends.

I am sure there is much more, but have to get back to work.

Thanks for everyone's continued support that makes all of this and more possible.
