The true fact is almost all the artist signed on by companies who are a member of RIAA, & those company CEOs have about 3 mansions (in different states or countries), at least 1 limo, & 5 SUVs.

So most of them are living better than royalty, & most elected officials.

They are not starving or hurting. The starving artists are not signed on to those companies, or may not be signed on to any company.

Also most of those rich artists, a few years down the line, when their money is gone, & they're not making squat, the RIAA companies will continue to make money off their music. Most artists are so awe-struck to get signed on, they didn't bother to read the fine print, understand the company's legal loopholes, & didn't hire a good enough lawyer before they signed their contracts.

Most of the money the RIAA, ASCAP, & BMI make goes to the companies. The company will throw the artists money as long as they remain a top seller. When the artist is no longer a superstar, the company keeps the money, & cuts the artist off.
