Hmmm, you got my vote geo. Sounds like a workable peace plan.

If they war with each other, slowing the oil flow, we can drive more economic vehicles... don't have to leave every light on in the house, leave 2-3 TVs on at the same time, heat the pool every day, or leave the house at 80F in the middle of winter, or leave the AC at 68F in the middle of summer. They say slowing the oil flow will ruin our American way & economy...I don't see it.

I see the USA as wasting/burning energy like there's no tomorrow. If it keeps up, our children won't have any. Being more efficient has always been more profitable & economical.

Corperations & companies can save more energy too. I see the outside of their buildings lit up like the 2nd coming at 2AM in the morning when hardly anyone will see it. I see plazas, malls, banks, & hotels, with lights pointing upward toward the sky, instead of downward where the light is needed. I live near downtown. In the middle of the night, way up high, with my blinds & curtains closed, still enough light shines through my windows to read by...not from my building, but from city owned lights (the city claims their broke BTW).

Inside the buildings, 1 cubicule has their window open because they're too hot, right next door one has an electric heater because they're too cold.

The inside of the mall has their heat up in the 80s in the middle of winter because some cashier is dressed in her summer-wear. I'm sweating like a pig after 5 minutes inside. Then on a hot sweltering summer day, the malls & supermarkets have their AC so high I freeze my balls off.

I think if the oil slowed down a little, We can all adapt with no ill effects on our economy. It might be a good thing to learn that you can't have everything just the way you want it, anytime you want it.
