Subject: Re: Topcoats getting Sticky-more detail

More details:
The top coats I'm referring to are used over an artificial surface only (usually acrylic but can be silk, gel, etc.), never used over polish. I've used Final Touch (Premium), A-Coat (Tammy Taylor), UV 30 (EZ Flow), and whatever the one Pinnacle came out with. Like I mentioned before, it doesn't happen with all my p&w's but others are coming back with the top coat gummed up. A couple have come back stating it turned yellow. One is a tanning client and has problems but I have other tan clients with no problems. One I put the top coat on and 4 days later she came back and sure enough it had discolored, she swears the only thing she was in contact with was soap and water. No lotions, sun, hairspray, hair gels, mousse or any cleaning products. I just had to say "I have no idea what caused it". All of these products are supposed to "block" uv rays and protect the acrylic from outside "whatevers". I'll call these company's next week(time permitting) and see if any act like this ever happens! Plus I don't think I'm up to date on all MSDS sheets, I'm a bad girl!! It is hard to remember that when you never have to reference to them. Anyway, I'll attempt to gather more info for you and repost later. Thanks
