Subject: Frozen vs Fresh

Have any of you noticed a difference in the finished product from frozen meats to fresh meats?

With ribs I have done both several times and see no difference.....also, I have cooked butts that were semi frozen and if wrapped in foil at the 170 mark they also seem to be alright as well.

Anyone have any drawbacks to cooking meats before they are fully thawed other that the rubs don`t stick as well and takes a little longer to 'sweat'?
