Morning Ron , glad to hear everything went well . it's pretty insane isn't it . hard to imagine something so good and not to difficult . like Bruce said , it only gets better . far as ribs go i don't marinate myself , just remove the membrane on the back , rub (early in the day as possible, wrap in plastic) smoke at bout 230 - 250 for 3 hrs . may have to spray once or twice , wrap in foil and return to cooker same temp . at that point you can add apple juice and brown sugar to the foil , it worked great for me . after that ( now 4 hrs cooking time ) check for doneness , should be getting close . remove foil and return to cooker . use the juice from the foil for mop along with your glaze in the last 20 minutes of cooking . they are usually done in the 5 hr range total . this is a recipe from someone over at BBQ Forum and i loved it . have a good one . reg
