Hey Mike, I appreciate your kind words as does my son Scott, he was so proud when his team name 'Kid BBQ' was called to the podium for 3rd Ground Pork and second in Ribs, I must admit I felt pretty darn good watching him head up the stairs, I thought he was going to stand there forever holding those plaques up in the air for people to photograph...LOL

I should also mention that Darren and his partner 'What have You been Smokin' kicked some serious booty with their first place Ribs and first place Pork Chop, I didn`t taste the ribs but I did taste the pork chop, it was NO suprise to me they took first, they were without question, OUTSTANDING, I really mean it.....way to go boys!

As far as the Main event on Saturday, we 'Little & Large' grabbed a 3rd in Chicken........that was all she wrote.
I have no excuses but for some reason, my heart and my energy just wasn`t into a cookoff this weekend, I guess I was just 'not into it' as much as I normally am so to my teamates Bryan and Mike, sorry bout that guys..

I promise I`ll be 'UP' for the next one.....do we even know what rubs we used on what???????LOL

Bryan, what a cooker man, I appriciate you jumping on board with us on such short notice like you did.
It was a pleasure cooking with you and would be honored to do it again anytime....
The door is always open in our camp for you, with your cooker or without...

I will have to agree with reggie on the judging, not sour grapes by any means gents, we deserve what WE got but there were some questions that I had with regards to judging on the Saturday.

Smokin Jimmer, nice to have met you sir, but Hey!,next time get a digital thermometer to do temp checks will you, I had to burn down another tree just to bring the temp back up in the cooker from you guys checking meat temps...LOL

Take care guys........
