Reg:
Not sure yet. Any suggestions? Since I started this menu-matching for Game 3 we've had:
Game 3- Mac and Cheese. Result: 2-1 overtime loss. Think this was a good carb-based meal, but as mentioned, the heavier smoked provolone got em all bound up for the overtime and they faltered.
Game 4- 1.5 inch thick sirloins. Result 3-0 loss. Definitely protein overload. Steaks before a game went out with ankle guards and the Oakland Seals. My mistake trying to resurrect a dying tradition.
Game 5: Homemade burgers/side of buttered pasta. Result: 1-0 win. Great combination! Nice, but not overwhelming, sized burgers, topped with fresh garden ingredients and a side of rotini pasta with a touch of butter and parmesan. Filling but not overwhelming--Cujo musta gone back for seconds because he was really 'on'!
Game 6: Okay, you've read the history of this menu-Leafs matching 'experiment'. Any suggestions for Game 6? Something that maybe brings together a bit of meat with some grains/pasta once again, or perhaps something else (it's do-or-die though; let's not get too experimental at this crucial stage of the game!)
