I would not jump to conclusions based on one comment by one professor. Dyslexia can be diagnosed in college students. But unless your daughter has difficulties with reading, spelling and writing it most likely is not dyslexic. Contact your local Dyslexia Association to locate individuals near you were qualified to do testing for dyslexia.

Here are several recommendations about the C in chemistry. Since your daughter wants to be premed I would retake the chemistry class. If possible with a different professor or even during the summer at a local community college. I would also get some tutors lined up when repeating the class. It is especially important to do well in introductory chemistry before moving on to more advanced courses in chemistry. Repeating a class frequently leads to a much better grade.
