I used a different approach. I had my material read to me. When you have dyslexia, I find it is very helpful to have the material read to you. Other students used to do this for me. At my university there was a center to help students with dyslexia and students volunteered to read to dyslexic students. Now additionally there is software that can read to you. I frequently use this software. In order to read websites I use TextAloud from www.nextup.com
I am reading in English and use text-to-speech voices on my computer to read to me. I don't know they have text-to-speech voices for people in Belgium. I know there are English and French voices

I also use speech recognition software to dictate my papers in English. I use Dragon NaturallySpeaking I believe it is available both for English and French.
